How do I obtain a work permit? 
In principle, permits are granted by the cantonal authorities. For the appropriate forms, please contact the Department of Economic Affairs or consult the brochure zug : doing business.


b) Real estate

How can I find vacant commercial premises or a tenant or purchaser for such premises? 
Consult the Economic Promotion Office's List of Vacant Real Estate. 


c) Cantonal administration

Do you have questions for the cantonal administration, but don't know whom to contact?
The Economic Promotion Office will be happy to help you.



d) Contacts

Which are the most important business associations and services clubs in Canton Zug?
The Economic Promotion Office will be happy to provide you with a list of service clubs. 


Are contact events held in all municipalities? 
Almost all of the 11 municipalities which make up Canton Zug organize contact events to which companies are invited.


e) Transport

What developments are planned for public and private transport over the next few years? 
Detailed information is contained on the websites of the Office for Spatial Planning (in German) and on the homepage of the Office for Public Transport (in German).


f) Innovation awards

Are prizes awarded by Canton Zug or other institutions for special achievements in the fields of entrepreneurial innovation or strategy? 
Every year (in autumn) the canton awards the zug Innovation Prize. For further details concerning awards, please consult the brochure "Start-up Information"
