We offer a wide variety of advisory services and information to all migrants with official residence status as well as to the Swiss living in the Canton.

Persons in search of advice as well as persons who have recently moved to the Canton Zug are informed and advised about general questions concerning working, studying and living in Switzerland. For more complicated matters, we are happy to refer you to either our own consultants, corresponding institutions or specialists.

We offer advice in the following languages:
Albanian, Bosnian, German, English, French, Italian, Croatian, Portuguese, Serbian, Spanish und Turkish.

We offer

• Advice in following areas: Social insurance, foreigners’ rights, tenant-rights, labour law, unemployment, education, schools and language courses, health, family matters, returning to country of origin

• Assistance in case of problems with employers, government agencies, institutions

We are under obligation to maintain confidentiality.

We offer translations services - depending on our schedules - for documents from and into German.

Our employees can also be contacted for intercultural tasks.

The Fachstelle is pleased to complete your tax returns. Please contact the Welcome Desk for an appointment.  

If your annual income exceeds CHF 100`000- or you own property, we will refer you to: Zug Association of Tax Accountants - these experts will better assist those more complicated tax returns.
